While I love photography and still graphic work, motion graphics and visual effects have been my passion and it all has roots in my background of shooting and editing video. I stepped back into my video shoes for a bit and this is what resulted. It's a piece that I put together from footage shot over the last year or so. Not sure how it'll connect with most but I have an attachment to the story. Looking for honest feedback on the shooting and editing. I'm aware of the weird glitch in the second shot and the odd jitter some of the footage has, it's a mix frame rate and resolution issue. Other than that let me know what you think. http://www.yo

So in just over a week I'll be going back home for the first time in a year and a half.  I'm hoping the weather is good so I can get som shooting done.  Aside from that I'm aiming to visit a select few close friends and family and avoid a number of ghost from my past.  Hoping for a safe trip, in the mean time, I'll be shooting some behind the scenes on a sick commercial and got some other stuff lined up.  Should be fun.

I haven't wrote a blog or journal entry like this in years.  I find myself at a place in life where my creativity fluctuates to extremes.  I go days where ideas and inspiration floods me then I go awhile where I can literally stare at a wall for hours and not have a though creative or not.  I also notice my overall mood shifts with this, I'm not sure which cause which though.  I feel I'm in a make or break phase of my career.  Where I work creativity isn't appreciated and when it is encouraged it gets stepped on by politics and process that is old and outdated.  I have to push on with my job to support my family but I can feel it draining me
